Privacy Policy
Last updated October 6, 2026
Tauroid is operated by Viridel Inc. (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you use tauroid.com, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Waitlist. The email address you give us when you join the waitlist.
- Your account. Your name and email address, and a hash of your password if you sign up with one. If you sign in with a third-party account, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from that provider.
- What you build. Your prompts, your conversations with Tauroid's agent, and the games you create: their code, assets and version history. Members of a workspace can see the games and conversations in that workspace.
- Billing. If you subscribe, our payment provider collects your payment details. We receive your subscription status and limited billing details, never your full card number.
- Usage. How you use the studio and how you play games made with Tauroid: the features you use, the actions you take in a game, and when and for how long. This may be linked to your account. We also keep aggregate page-view statistics, collected without cookies or cross-site tracking, and the operational logs our servers keep to run and secure the service.
How we use it
- To run Tauroid: to create your account, sign you in, build and store your games, and take payment if you subscribe.
- To send you email about the service: your waitlist confirmation and invitation, verification and password-reset codes. We do not send marketing email.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- To improve Tauroid, which can include reviewing prompts, conversations and games, and understanding how the studio and games are used.
- To build statistical and machine-learning models from usage and gameplay data, such as models that predict which games keep people playing.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
AI models
When you ask Tauroid to build or change a game, your prompts, your conversation and the relevant game code are sent to the third-party AI model providers that power Tauroid's agent. The agent may also screenshot your running game and send the image to a model for review. These providers process this content to generate responses for you, and may keep it for a limited period to monitor for abuse. We do not use your prompts, conversations, code or assets to train AI models, and we do not allow these providers to train their models on them. The models we build from usage and gameplay data do not use that content.
Who processes your data
- Hosting and database providers, which host the site and store your account, your games and your conversations with the agent.
- AI model providers, which run the models behind the agent.
- Email, analytics and bot-protection providers, which deliver our email, count page views and protect public forms.
- Our payment provider, which processes your payment if you subscribe.
- Your sign-in provider, if you choose to sign in with a third-party account.
You can ask us for the current list of these providers at support@tauroid.dev.
International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our providers process data there and in other countries where they operate. When personal information from the EEA, UK or Switzerland is transferred abroad, we rely on an adequacy decision or on standard contractual clauses approved for that purpose.
Legal bases
If you are in the EEA or UK, we are the controller of your personal information and rely on these legal bases:
- Our contract with you, to provide your account, build and store your games, and take payment.
- Our legitimate interests, to keep the service secure, prevent abuse, understand and improve how it is used, and build the models described above.
- Your consent, for the waitlist. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Legal obligations, such as keeping billing records.
Cookies and local storage
We keep your sign-in session and your display preferences in your browser. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and games for as long as your account exists. Deleting a game removes its files, assets and conversations. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete it and its games within 30 days, except billing records we are required to keep. Content already sent to an AI model provider is deleted on that provider's schedule. Waitlist entries are kept until you ask us to remove them. Operational logs are kept for a short period and then deleted.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to remove you from the waitlist, by emailing support@tauroid.dev. We answer within one month. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Tauroid is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. For significant changes, we will notify account holders by email.
